Rule 26
Provisions relating to Permits of Measurement Maps
:
(1) A person who has attained the qualifications according to Rule 28 or an organization to which a person who has attained such qualifications is affiliated, Section 11E of the Act. If you want to work on Vomozim measurement map, you have to apply to the department for a permit.
(2) After receiving the application as per sub-rule (1), the department will send the application to the examination committee as per rule 27 and if the committee recommends that the applicant is suitable to be given a permit, the department may issue a permit in the format of Schedule-14 so as to be entitled to work on the following measurement map: –
(a) updating of quota maps and the same,
(b) Conducting engineering surveys,
(c) Surveying the topography other than the base map of the dominion of Nepal,
(d) Thematic measuring.
(3) A person or an organization who obtains a permit in accordance with sub-rule (2) shall, before obtaining such permit, provide a bank guarantee or a bond in the amount specified by the Director General.
