In this regulation, unless the subject or context requires otherwise,–
(a) "Act" means the Land (Measuring) Act, 2019.
(b) "Surveying team" means the surveying team that checks the measurement of the land under the surveying Goshwara.
(c) "Re-measurement check" means re-measurement check in the area where the measure has already been checked.
(d) "Surveyor Goshwara" means the surveyor goshwara or surveyor's office for surveying the land under the department.
(e) "Committee" means the Exempt Land Registration Review Committee as per sub-rule (1) of Rule 11.
(f) "Surveying Officer" shall mean the chief surveying officer or surveying officer of the Surveyor Goshwara who carries out land surveying in accordance with sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the Act and by that term the surveying officer of the Surveyor Branch who updates the survey maps and maps. It refers to the same.
(g) "Surveying Branch" means the surveying branch which updates the survey maps and maps.
(h) "Team Leader" means the team leader of the measuring team.
(i) "Department" means Surveying Department.
(j) "Director General" means the Director General of the Department.
(k) "Permit" means the permit granted for the work of measurement map as per sub-rule (2) of rule 26.
