(1) The commission shall appoint one chief name registration officer in each district and as necessary name registration officer and assistant name to collect voter names and other necessary details for the election under this Act, to prepare or update the voter list and to do all other necessary work in that regard. The registration officer may appoint.
(2) To assist the registration officer in carrying out the work as per sub-section (1), the Commission shall appoint the employees of the Government of Nepal, State Government and local level, or the employees of the institutions owned or controlled by the Government of Nepal or the State Government, or the teachers of community schools, or Can be put to work.
(3) The office of the Name Registration Officer shall be at the place designated by the Commission.
