Section 16
Power to make rules
: (1) The Government of Nepal may make rules to fulfill the purpose of this Act.
(2) Rules may be made in particular in the following matters without having any adverse effect on the generality of the rights conferred by sub-section (1):-
(a) regarding the appointment or determination of powers, functions, duties and areas of Marriage Officers,
(b) the form and manner of filing the application, register book, certificate required under this Act, and
(c) In relation to providing copies of applications, certificates and other documents and prescribing fees.
(2) Rules may be made in particular in the following matters without having any adverse effect on the generality of the rights conferred by sub-section (1):-
