(1) The Government of Nepal may make necessary rules for the implementation of this Act.
(2) Rules may be made in the following matters without adversely affecting the generality of the rights conferred by sub-section (1):-
(a) operation and management of drinking water and sanitation services, (b) clean and quality water distribution,
(c) Water and Sanitation: Fees for Service Permits and Survey Permits, Renewal Fees: Relating to,
(d) Tariff determination of drinking water and sanitation services,
(e) relating to water and meter connection,
(f) relating to charges for sewerage services,
(g) Water: Regarding bulk purchase and sale,
(h) Water quality and standards,
(i) Regarding the establishment and operation of the laboratory,
(h): Regarding water export and trade,
(k) Duties and powers of the Co-ordinating Committee,
(g) Monitoring and regulation of water and sanitation services, and
(d) other matters necessary for carrying out the Act.
