When mentioning the technical details of the construction work in the tender document, the public body should mention the following things as required:-
(a) scope and purpose of the proposed construction work,
(b) the physical nature and condition of the construction site,
(c) Description of works such as design, construction, equipment connection (erection), production, connection (installation) of the proposed construction work,
(d) Bill of Quantities containing estimated quantity of each unit item of construction work,
(e) If there is an impact on the environment due to the construction work, the description of such impact and the criteria to be adopted to reduce such impact,
(f) Mechanical, sanitary and plumbing and electrical connection related work, if any, special technical specification related to that work, (g) detailed description of equipment and spare parts to be supplied,
(h) Statements regarding assurance of expected performance or quality,
(i) Inspection and testing to be done at different stages of construction work,
(h) Completion Test (k) Technical documents to be provided by the builder after the completion of the construction work, as-built map, equipment operation manual as required,
(l) inspection and performance test to be done by the public body for acceptance of the construction work,
(d) the schedule of time for commencement and completion of construction works, and
(d) Other necessary matters determined by the concerned public body.
