(1) Under the direction of the Commission and the Chief Election Officer, it shall be the duty of the Election Officer to ensure that all operations related to the conduct of elections in accordance with this Act are carried out in a clean, fair and independent manner.
(2) Other duties, duties and rights of the Election Officer shall be as prescribed.
(3) The election officer may delegate his authority to the staff assigned to do the election work as needed.
