(1) Nepalese citizens who have made exemplary contributions in any field of national life in order to enhance the reputation of Nepal may be awarded the Nepal Ratna Award.
(2) According to sub-rule (1), there will be no division of rank and the symbol group and size of the garland of such rank will be as mentioned in Appendix One Schedule-1.
