Section 47
Jurisdiction of the Judicial Committee

(1) The Judicial Committee shall have the power to decide the following disputes:-
(a) Allocation and utilization of Alidhur, Badh Pani, Kulo or Panighat,
(b) causing damage to another's crop,
(c) Pasture, grass, firewood,
(d) Non-payment of wages (e) lost or found domestic animals,
(f) Failure to nurture and care for senior citizens,
(G) Not giving food or education to minor sons or daughters or spouses according to respectable income,
(h) Defective house restoration and house restoration facility up to twenty five lakh rupees per annum,
(j) Planting trees in such a way as to affect the house, land or property of another person,
(j) Throwing water from his house or property on another's house, land or public road,
(k) If a house is built with a window towards the land of Sadhiar, it is built without leaving the amount of land that should be left as per the law,
(l) Not allowing or hindering the use of roads, exits for extracting commodities, pastures for commodities, ditches, canals, ponds, pati paua, funeral places, religious places or any other public places, which have been in public use since time immemorial, even if they are under the right or ownership of someone. ,
(D) Other disputes that are determined by the federal or state law to be determined by the local level.
(2) The Judicial Committee shall have power to settle disputes only by way of conciliation in the following disputes:-
(a) Other than government, public or community, the land belonging to one person has been encroached, encroached or encroached upon by another,
(b) has built a house or any structure on the land of others other than the government, public or community, which does not have its right,
(c) Divorce between husband and wife,
(d) assault punishable with imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year, excluding mutilation,

(h) Unauthorized entry into the dwelling of another,
(i) Occupied or encroached upon the land occupied by another,
(j) Affecting the neighbors by causing noise pollution or throwing garbage,
(k) Reconciliation can be done according to prevailing lawsOther civil and criminal disputes that can be imprisoned up to one year.
(3) In relation to the dispute under sub-section (2), it shall not be considered as a hindrance to file a case directly in the court if the party so desires.
(4) In the dispute mentioned in this section, if there is a time limit for filing an application before the body that hears the case in the prevailing law, within the same time limit, and if no time limit is specified, the application must be made before the judicial committee within thirty-five days from the date of such action. Explanation: For the purposes of this paragraph, the term "petition" also refers to a complaint or complaint.
