: (1) If an act considered as an offense related to the accusation of witchcraft has been, is being, or is about to be committed in any house, land or place, if immediate action is not taken, the offender may flee, escape, or any evidence related to such offense may be lost or destroyed, whatever is written in the prevailing law. However, a police officer of at least the rank of Sub-Inspector of Police may do the following at any time by erecting a leaflet:-
(a) to enter, search or take possession of such house, land or place,
(b) If someone obstructs when he is about to do such an act, open the window or door as necessary or take necessary action immediately,
(c) To arrest without warrant or to search the person who commits such act,
(d) To recover or take possession of the evidence found in such house, land or place.
(2) The police officer, while performing the work according to sub-section (1), shall, as far as possible, prepare a bond in the presence of the representatives of the local level and, if not possible, the persons present at the place at that time, and give a copy of such bond to the owner of the house or land concerned.
(3) If a woman is to be arrested according to sub-section (1), the woman police shall arrest her and if there is no woman police, she may be arrested with the help of any other woman.
