Rule 6

If there is a vacancy in the Nepali Army, the relevant office shall send the notification within seven days of the vacancy in the case of officers to the Military Secretary Department and in the case of other ranks to the Directorate of Military Organizations for filling up the posts.
(2) According to sub-rule (1) within fifteen days of receiving the notice of filling the vacant position, if the vacant position is to be filled by promotion, a meeting of the promotion committee should be held and if the position is to be filled by open, it should be sent in writing to the admission selection. However, in the event that the meeting of the promotion committee has not yet been scheduled, it will not be a hindrance to submit it in the next meeting.
(2a) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-rule [2], in the case of promotion in the rank of chief soldier and general, the promotion committee shall hold an annual promotion meeting in Chaitra Mahita once every year and prepare a recommendation list with copper for promotion from the respective groups to the vacant posts in that year in order of limitation and the officers in the recommended list shall be If the post becomes vacant, then the promotion committee will recommend to the relevant body for promotion from the relevant group according to the order of the recommendation list. However, if a military person whose name is included in the recommendation list of the annual promotion meeting is recommended for promotion, the promotion committee does not have to recommend him for promotion if he is found guilty of any offense before being recommended for promotion.
(3) The filling of posts through open competition shall be as determined in the schedule.
