16. Term of office

(1) The term of office of the chairman and members appointed in accordance with clause (b) of sub-section (2) of section 3 shall be three years and they may be re-appointed.

(2) Sub-section (1) If the position of any member of the Commission becomes vacant while the term of office as per (1) remains, the Government of Nepal may appoint another member for the remaining period of the vacant position. ) regardless of what is written in it, the Government of Nepal can change the chairman and members at any time.
