In this Act, unless the subject or the context requires otherwise,–
(a) "Office" shall mean government and public office and the term also refers to the office of the temporary or periodical commission or committee constituted by the Government of Nepal from time to time. Explanation:- For the purpose of this clause, "public office" shall mean the office of a public organization as specified by the Government of Nepal from time to time by publishing a notice in the Nepal Gazette.
(b) "classified document" means a document classified under section 3.
(c) "Prescribed" or "as prescribed" means as prescribed or prescribed in the rules made or orders issued under this Act.
