2.1 Unless otherwise indicated by the subject or context, in this Act, - 2.1.1 "order of detention" shall mean the order according to sub-section 3.1. 2.1.2 "Delimitation order" means the order as per subsection 3.2. 2.1.3 "Local Officer" shall mean the Chief District Officer and the term also refers to the officer acting on his behalf in his absence.
