: In this Act, unless the subject or the context otherwise requires,-
(a) "Music" includes singing, music making, playing and dancing.
(b) "Theatrical" means drama, acting and drama.
(c) "Prajna Pratishthan" means Nepal Music and Drama Pragya Pratishthan established as per section 3.
(d) "Assembly" means the academic assembly as per section 7.
(e) "Council" shall mean the academic council as per section 11.
(f) "Chancellor" means the Chancellor of Pragya Pratishthan.
(g) "Vice-Chancellor" means the Vice-Chancellor of Pragya Pratishthan.
(h) "Secretary" means the Secretary of Pragya Pratishthan.
(i) "Officer" means Chancellor, Vice-Chancellor, Secretary and nominated members of the Council.
(j) "Prescribed" or "as prescribed" means prescribed or prescribed in the rules made under this Act.
