Rule 2
Definition
In this regulation, unless the subject or context requires otherwise,–
(a) "Act" means the Nepal Health Practitioners Council Act, 2053.
(b) "Subject Committee" means the Subject Committee constituted as per Rule 12.
(c) "Professional Conduct" shall mean the professional conduct prescribed under Rule 13.
(d) "Investigation Committee" means the Inquiry Committee constituted as per Rule 14.
(e) "Health institution" means a hospital or nursing home or primary health center or health post or sub-health post or any other name operated by the national or international government or non-government or private level.
(f) "Election" means an election for members as per clause (f) of sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Act.
(g) "Voter" means a voter as per rule 30.
(h) "Candidate" means a person who has qualified as per Rule 31 and is a candidate in the election.
(i) "Election Committee" means the Election Committee constituted under Rule 33.
