In these Regulations, unless the context or the context otherwise requires,–
(a) "Act" means the Provincial Assembly Member Election Act, 2074.
(b) "Election programme" shall mean the election program as per rule 3.
(c) "Election symbol" means the election symbol determined by the Commission in accordance with section 31 of the Act.
(d) "Election Office" means District Election Office or Regional Election Office.
(e) "Counting representative" means the person appointed by the candidate or election representative in accordance with rule 45 to represent him in the work of counting of votes.
(f) "Voting Center" means the polling center designated by the Commission in accordance with Section 34 of the Act for the purpose of voting in the election and the term also refers to the sub-polling center.
(g) "Polling representative" means a person appointed by the candidate or election representative in accordance with rule 44 to represent him at the polling station.
(h) "Nomination Paper" means the nomination paper presented to the Election Officer for candidacy in the election.
