Section 2
Definition
In this Act, unless the subject or the context otherwise requires,–
(a) "Chairman" means the Chairman of the Commission and the term also includes the Acting Chairman.
(b) "Commission" means the Muslim Commission under Article 264 of the Constitution.
(c) "Prescribed" or "as prescribed" means prescribed or prescribed in the rules made under this Act.
(d) "Muslim" means the community defined by the Government of Nepal on the recommendation of the Muslim Commission.
(e) "Member" means a member of the Commission and the term also refers to the Chairman.
(f) "Constitution" means the Constitution of Nepal.
