Section 2
Definition
: In this Act, if the subject or the subject does not have another meaning,-
(a) "Court" means the court hearing the case under section 40.
(b) "Investigating Officer" means an officer investigating a serious offence.
(c) "authorized officer" shall mean an officer or agency as per section 24.
(d) "Criminal group" means a group of three or more persons, whether established or not, who are inside or outside Nepal for the purpose of committing the organized crime mentioned in paragraph-2, directly or indirectly.
(e) "Prescribed" or "as prescribed" means prescribed or prescribed in the rules made under this Act.
(f) "Review Committee" means the review committee under section 29.
(g) "Organized crime" shall mean the crime under paragraph-2.
(h) "Communication recording" means the act of recording any type of communication by wire, computer or any other electronic means by means of electronic or any other device.
(i) "property" means physical or immaterial, movable or immovable, tangible or intangible property and the term includes any thing or instrument of any value, any document, document or document establishing any right, interest or right existing or to be maintained over such property; It also refers to any other equipment.
