Rule 2
Definitions
In these regulations, unless the subject or subject has a different meaning,-
(a) "Act" means the Governmental Cases Act, 2049.
(A1) "Department" means the department as per sub-rule (1A) of rule 4.
(A2) "Head of the Department" means the Deputy Attorney General appointed to act as the head of the concerned Department.
(b) "Criminal case" means the case mentioned in Schedule-1 of the Act.
(c) "Civil case" means the case mentioned in Schedule-2 of the Act.
(d) "case concerning the Government of Nepal" means the case under clauses (b) and (c), the case mentioned in any law that the Government of Nepal is the plaintiff, the case in which the Government of Nepal is a party or the opposition, and the said phrase means that it concerns the Government of Nepal It also refers to other cases specified by the Government of Nepal.
(e) "Government Attorney Office" means the office mentioned in Clause (c) of Section 2 of the Act.
