In these regulations, unless the subject or the context requires otherwise,-
(a) "Act" means the Military Act, 2063.
(b) "Filling Committee" means the Filling Committee as per Rule 7.
(c) "Promotion Committee" means the Promotion Committee as per Rule 17.
(d) "Ministry" means the Ministry of Defense of the Government of Nepal.
(e) "Servicemen's Regulations" means the Soldiers' Service Regulations, 2069.
(f) "Military Air Service" means the service in which military personnel belong to the group or sub-group as per rule 3.
