Unless the subject or context dictates otherwise, in this Act-

(a) "Zhora area" shall mean the area where the forest has been legally cleared and settled.

(1) In the Jhora areas of Morang Sunsari and Jhapa districts, the Act is set to come into effect from 2028.8.1 (Nepal Gazette - 2028.7.29).
(2) In the mentioned area of ​​Sunsari district, the Act has been set to come into force from 2034.10.5 (Nepal Gazette - 2034.10.5). A person who has registered land or has the right to register it should be considered. >

(d) “Prescribed” or “as prescribed” means prescribed or prescribed in the rules made under this Act.
