Unless the subject or the context otherwise requires, in these regulations,-

(a) “Act” shall mean the Exchangeable Securities Act, 2034.
(b) "Notary public" shall mean a person appointed or designated under section 106 of the Act. (c) "Written Register Book (Notary Register)" means the written register book according to Rule 8.
(d) "Office" shall mean the office, agency or institution designated by the Government of Nepal by publishing a notice in the Nepal Gazette.
