Section 2
Definition
: If the subject or context does not indicate otherwise, -
(a) "Emergency health service" means the initial and immediate service to be provided as necessary to save the lives of persons in a life-threatening situation due to an emergency or an emergency situation.
(b) "Basic health service" means promotional, preventive, diagnostic, curative and rehabilitative services which are readily available free of charge from the state to meet the health needs of the general public in accordance with sub-section (4) of section 3.
(c) "Non-Government or Private Health Institution" means a health institution that is operated under the ownership and investment of the non-governmental or private sector after taking approval in accordance with the prevailing law.
(d) "Physician" means a person registered with the concerned council as a medical practitioner in accordance with the prevailing law.
(e) "Public Health Inspector" means the officer designated for the monitoring and regulation of public health.
(f) "Hazardous area" means any chemical, biological, climatic, psycho-social, physical, physical and geographical conditions that have a negative impact on human health due to the nature of the workplace or work and the term includes the potential risk to health workers during the course of health treatment. will refer to the same.
(g) "Prescribed" or "as prescribed" means prescribed or prescribed in the rules made under this Act.
(h) “Traditional healing provider” means a person who traditionally provides healing with herbs, plants and minerals.

(j) "Committee" means the National Public Health Committee under section 50.
(k) “Government Health Institution” means from the Union, State and local levels;It should be mentioned the operating health institution.
(l) "Community Health Worker" means health workers and women health volunteers who work in organizations or communities after obtaining qualifications or training in health services from a recognized organization.
(d) “Recipient” means a person receiving health care in a health institution.
(l) "Service provider" means doctors, health workers and community health workers working in health institutions after obtaining certain qualification or training in health services from a recognized educational institution.
(n) "Health worker" means a person registered with the concerned council as a health worker in accordance with the prevailing law.
(h) "Healthcare" means preventive, promotive, diagnostic, curative, restorative and palliative services based on modern medicine (Allopathy), Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Unani, Naturopathy, Acupuncture, Sowarigpa (Amchi) medical system. Must remember.
(h) "Health Institution" means Government Health Institution and the term also refers to Non-Governmental or Private or Co-operative or Non-Profit Community Health Institutions established in accordance with prevailing laws.
