In these Regulations, unless the subject or the context requires otherwise,–
(a) "Court" means the Supreme Court (b) "Bench" means a Constitution Bench, a Full Bench, a Full Bench, a Joint Bench or a Bench of one Judge under Rule 21.
(c) "Act" means the Supreme Court Act, 2048.
(d) "Law Practitioner" shall mean Senior Advocate or Advocate as per Nepal Law Practitioners Council Act, 2050.
(e) "Directorate" means the Directorate for Execution of Judgments under Rule 129.
(f) "Judge" means a Judge of the Supreme Court and that term includes the Chief Justice.
(g) "full meeting" means the full court as per rule 109.
(h)       “Director General” means the Director General of the Directorate.
(i) "Judgment" means a final order passed by any court or judicial body.
(j) "Chief Registrar" means the Chief Registrar of the Court and the term also includes the Registrar or other officer acting on a permanent or acting basis.
(k) "Case" means a writ petition as well.
(l) "Registrar" means the Registrar of the Court and the term also includes the Deputy Registrar or other officer acting on a permanent or acting basis.
(d) "Committee" means the committee as per paragraph-13.
(l) "Authority concerned" means the Chief Registrar, the Registrar or any other officer delegated by them.
(n) "Constitution" means the Constitution of Nepal.
(t) "Document" means the document including complaint, reply, appeal, petition, written answer, written counter-argument filed in the court.
(h) "Salary Legal Practitioner" means a salaried legal practitioner appointed under Rule 143.
