Section 8
Duties and Powers of the Council
: In addition to the work described elsewhere in this Act, the functions, duties and powers of the Council shall be as follows:-
(a) Determining the policy regarding the training and research program to be conducted by the institute (b) Making regulations of the establishment and approving the regulations.
(c) To approve the long-term plan of the establishment.
(D) To review and evaluate the progress of the annual program of the institution and to approve the budget (e) Giving necessary instructions to the committee.
