In addition to the functions, duties and powers written elsewhere in this Act, the functions, duties and powers of the Council shall be as follows:-
(a) To formulate and implement the policy to be followed in relation to notaries public,
(b) Issuance of certificate of notary public,
(c) To monitor whether the Notary Public has acted in accordance with this Act or the Code of Conduct made by the Council,
(d) In relation to the work to be done by you, form a committee as necessary and assign the work, duties and rights of such committee,
(e) appointing auditors, and
(f) To do other work as specified.
