(1) A Lumbini Development Council will be constituted as follows as the supreme body of the fund to formulate policies and give necessary guidance and direction to the committee in relation to fulfilling the objectives of the fund –

“( a) Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation or Minister of State - Chairman” (b) Person nominated by the Government of Nepal – Vice Chairman
(c) … … …
(d) Four secretaries nominated by the Government of Nepal from amongst the Secretaries of the Government of Nepal - Members
(e) Four persons nominated by the Government of Nepal from among government organizations, non-governmental Buddhist organizations and renowned experts - members
(f) Four persons nominated by the Government of Nepal from among representatives of international organizations and persons of repute in the protection of man-made heritage - members
(g) Person nominated by the Government of Nepal – Treasurer
(h) Person nominated by the Government of Nepal - Member - Secretary
(2) The Government of Nepal may publish a notice in the Nepal Gazette and make necessary additions or changes to the members as per sub-section (1).
