Section 5
Formation of the Council
– (1) The Council established as per Section 3 shall have the following members:-
(a) Registered Veterinarian of “A” category nominated by Government of Nepal – Chairman
(b) Two Veterinarians elected from amongst the registered Veterinarians – Vice-Chairman
(c) At least two registered veterinarians of “B” category nominated by the Government of Nepal – members
(d) Five veterinarians elected from among the registered veterinarians – members
(e) President, Nepal Veterinary Association – Member
(2) According to sub-section (1), until the establishment of the Council, the Government of Nepal may form a committee to carry out the work to be done by the Council. The committee formed in that way will not be maintained for a period of more than one year.

(2) According to sub-section (1), until the establishment of the Council, the Government of Nepal may form a committee to carry out the work to be done by the Council. The committee formed in that way will not be maintained for a period of more than one year.
