(1) Protection of water sources and springs will be done in coordination with Nepal government, state government and local level.
(2) For the protection of drinking water sources and springs, the following actions should be taken:-
(a) Controlling floods, landslides,
for conservation of water resources (b) To make necessary arrangements to prevent pollution of water sources and to protect water sources from destruction or extinction,
(c) to adopt appropriate measures to sustain the water source or source and to maintain it regularly,
(d) conducting awareness or interaction programs for consumers or related parties regarding water conservation, promotion and proper use,
(e) To prevent water source pollution and to encourage farmers to practice organic farming to protect water source or catchment areas,
(f) Prohibiting the use of pesticides or explosives in a way that adversely affects the source or drainage area of ​​drinking water or the animals in that area, and
(G) To do other work related to the protection of drinking water sources and springs.
