(1) According to this Act, the request letter submitted by the foreign state to the Government of Nepal for mutual legal assistance must be written in Nepali language.
(2) If the request letter as per sub-section (1) is written in a foreign language and it is not practical to translate such request letter into Nepali language, a copy of the original English language or an official translation of the same from another language into English language is attached, such request letter shall be sent to the Central Authority or the concerned court. will be acceptable.
