Preamble
: Since it is desirable to make a legal arrangement regarding the exchange of mutual legal assistance between Nepal and foreign states in matters of judicial proceedings, the Constituent Assembly has made this Act as a legislature-parliament in accordance with Article 83 of the Interim Constitution of Nepal, 2063.
