(1) A person who is, has been, or is qualified to be a judge of the High Court having knowledge of information technology related matters shall be eligible to be a law member of the Appellate Tribunal.
(2) A Nepali citizen with at least five years of experience in the field of electronic business, information technology or electronic communication with at least a master's degree in computer science or information technology-related subjects will be eligible to be an information technology member of the Appellate Tribunal.
(3) A Nepalese citizen with at least a master's degree in management or commerce and having specialized in the field of electronic transactions and having at least five years of experience in the relevant field will be eligible to be a commercial member of the Appellate Tribunal.
