(1) The local child rights committee will regularly monitor and inspect the rehabilitation centers within the local level.
(2) The Ministry, Council, Provincial Child Rights Committee and District Child Justice Committee of the respective provinces may make action plans and conduct monitoring and emergency inspections of rehabilitation centers as needed.
(3) According to sub-rules (1) and (2) during the monitoring and inspection, if the relevant rehabilitation center does not comply with the standards prescribed by the prevailing law, it shall give necessary instructions and if it is found that there is an action contrary to the prevailing law within such rehabilitation center, it shall recommend the relevant agency for action.
(4) It shall be the duty of the concerned orphanage to comply with the instructions as per sub-rule (3). (5) The officer who monitors and inspects the rehabilitation center shall follow the child protection standards implemented by such rehabilitation center.
(6) The monitoring and inspection officer of the rehabilitation center shall submit the monitoring and inspection report to the agency assigned to him.
