(1) The respective sports association shall submit an application to the committee within fifteen days of the completion of the sports competition for the awards and honors to be given by the Ministry to the players who have won gold, silver and bronze medals in the following competitions and to the coaches, assistant coaches, physios or doctors and managers of such sports:- (a) Olympic competition,
(b) Asian Sports Tournament,
(c) South Asian Sports Competition,
(d) Championship Sports Tournament,
(e) International Recognition: Received other international or: regional sports competitions,
(f) Cricket Tournament.
(2) When making an application as per sub-rule (1), the following details should be attached:-
(a) Copy of the certificate issued by the organizer at the sports competition,
(b) Evidence that the Council has been informed or approved by the Council to participate in the competition,
(Gay) Recommendation of the Council and the concerned Sports Association,
(d) The recommendation made by the council that the submission to the council in the name of the player, coach, assistant coach, physio or doctor and manager who will receive honors and awards is pending and not valid,
(e) A self-declaration by the concerned player, coach, assistant coach, physio or doctor and manager that there is no outstanding or other amount to be paid to the Government of Nepal.
(3) The relevant sports association that participates the sportsmen who have received medals in the competition as per sub-rule (1) shall submit an application to the committee with the following details attached within fifteen days of the completion of the sports competition for awards and honours:-
(a) Copy of proof of registration and renewal in accordance with prevailing law,
(b) Preceding: Copy of the document on completion of audit of the financial year,
(c) a recommendation made by the Council that any amount payable by the concerned association to the Council is unreasonable,
(d) Question of the concerned Sports Association that there is no beruju or other amount left to be paid to the Government of NepalOral self-declaration.
(4) If the committee deems it appropriate after examining the application and details received according to sub-rules (1) and (3), the following details will be attached to the players, coaches, assistant coaches, physios or doctors, managers and sports associations involved in the competition (for awarding and honoring Recommend to the Ministry :- (a) Names and addresses of athletes, individuals and sports associations recommended for awards and honours,
(b) medal won and name of sport,
(c) Name of the sporting event for which the medal was awarded,
(d) Recommendation of the Committee.
(5) Other procedures to be adopted for the recommendation made for the purpose of receiving awards and honors in accordance with this rule shall be as determined by the Ministry.
