(1) Member-Secretary's monthly salary, dearness allowance, clothing allowance, daily and visiting allowance, communication facility, vehicle and fuel facility shall be the same as that received by the civil service gazetted special category employees of the Government of Nepal.
(2) (Member-Secretary shall receive an amount equal to one month's salary once a year for festivals celebrated according to his religion, culture and tradition.
(3) When the member-secretary visits the country in connection with the work of the council, the chairman of the council and if he has to visit abroad, the approval of the Government of Nepal and the Council of Ministers shall be obtained.
