Rule 11
Supplementary Environmental Impact Assessment Provisions
(1) In accordance with sub-section (3) of section 11 of the Act, the relevant body may grant study permission for supplementary environmental impact assessment.
(2) Supplement to any proposal approved under sub-rule (1). During the environmental impact assessment, the proposer must follow all other procedures except the process of approving the area and work list among the procedures to be followed when approving the environmental impact assessment according to this regulation. However, in the case of additional areas that will be affected by the implementation of the proposal, the recommendation of other bodies will not be necessary except for the relevant local level of the area.
(3) In order to collect opinions and suggestions regarding the supplementary environmental impact assessment report, the relevant body shall publish a notice in a daily newspaper of the national level for a period of seven days, and such report shall be made public through the web site of that body in such a way that it can be downloaded. .
(4) According to sub-rule (3), any person or organization may send their opinions and suggestions to the relevant body within such period.
(5) After completing the process mentioned in this rule, if the supplementary environmental impact assessment report is scrutinized based on the opinions and suggestions received, the relevant body shall approve such supplementary environmental impact assessment report.
(6) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-rule (1), once the environmental impact assessment report has been approved, in the project, if some: physical infrastructure, design or appearance needs to be modified or the structure needs to be relocated or altered, if there is no need for a supplementary environmental impact assessment. Or if the capacity of the project decreases or if the number of trees cut down needs to be further reduced, the relevant agency can give approval to modify the environmental management plan in the environmental impact assessment report.
