Section 5
Work, Duties and Rights of Pragya Pratishthan
: In addition to the work, duties and rights mentioned elsewhere in this Act, the work, duties and rights of Pragya Pratishthan shall be as follows :-
(a) Formulating policies and programs of Pragya Pratishthan,
(b) collection, preservation, promotion and study, research of fine arts,
(c) Creating research and original works in the field of fine arts and publishing such works (d) Arranging appreciation, honor and awards to local and foreign people who have made significant contributions in the field of fine arts,
(e) To establish a library, gallery and museum etc. related to fine arts,
(f) To provide scholarships for study and research in the field of fine arts,
(G) To conduct training programs on subjects related to fine arts,
(h) To study, research, promote and protect the fine arts that reflect the identity of different castes, castes and communities of Nepal,
(j) To introduce Nepali fine arts to the world and foreign fine arts to the Nepalese,
(j) Encouraging associations, organizations and individuals related to the development and expansion of fine arts (k) To organize and hold national and international seminars, workshops, conferences, exhibitions, festivals and competitions on fine art related subjects,
(l) To establish and expand relations with associations related to the field of fine arts and to exchange mutual support with such associations,
(D) Upliftment, development and expansion of public art,
(d) To carry out other necessary work to fulfill the purpose of this Act.
