Rule 19

Provision of candidates for promotion through competitive examination

(1) When a vacant post of a group is filled by promotion through internal competitive examination, the period of service as per section 21 of the Act and the minimum educational qualification prescribed for entry into service in the post currently held in the post one category below the vacant post Eligible service employees can be candidates.
