(1) The certifying body may suspend the certificate in the following cases:-
(a) If the client receiving the certificate or the person authorized on behalf of such client requests the suspension of the certificate,
(b) If it is necessary to suspend the certificate in cases where it is contrary to the public interest as prescribed,
(c) If it is found that due to the non-compliance of this Act or the rules made under this Act during the issuance of the certificate, there may be significant loss and damage to the persons who rely on such certificate, if the controller instructs to suspend such certificate.
(2) The basis and procedure for suspension of certificate and release of suspension shall be as prescribed.
