: (1) The Chief Identity Card Distribution Officer may appoint or appoint one Chief Identity Card Distribution Officer in the district where the provision of voter ID cards has been implemented.
(2) In addition to the work written elsewhere in the Act and these regulations, the Chief Identity Card Distribution Officer under the direction and control of the Chief Identity Card Distribution Officer shall do the following:-
(a) Designate the work and area to be done by the ID card distribution officer to complete the work of preparing and distributing the voter ID card.
(b) Prepare voter ID cards to be provided to voters in accordance with the Act and these regulations.
(c) To cause the distribution of voter ID cards to the voters within the period specified by the Commission.
(d) Conducting, controlling, inspecting and monitoring the work to be done by the identity card distribution officer in accordance with the Act and this regulation.
(e) If there is a problem in the preparation and distribution of voter ID cards, to solve them.
(f) If the employees involved in the preparation and distribution of voter ID cards do not work as mentioned in the Act and these regulations or if they work negligently, they will be subject to departmental action according to the prevailing laws.
(g) To do other work assigned by the Chief Identity Card Distribution Officer.
