(1) Foreign investors can transfer technology to any industry established in Nepal and make foreign investment.
(2) The terms and conditions of technology transfer as per sub-section (1) shall be as mentioned in the technology transfer agreement concluded between the related industries and foreign investors.
(3) No provision can be made to withdraw the royalty amount in excess of the limit specified in the agreement as per sub-section (2).
(4) The agreement according to sub-section (2) should be approved by the foreign investment approving body.
(5) When giving approval according to sub-section (4), the agency approving foreign investment may set necessary conditions based on international trends related to foreign investment, production and sales capacity of the industry.
