Rule 9
Cannot be broadcast

9. Not allowed to broadcast:

Broadcasting organization or person broadcasting the program is not allowed to broadcast any program on the following subjects:
(a) ……….
(B) Nepal ...……. To disturb the security, peace and order of,
(c) To cause harm to the morals, ethics and social dignity of the common people,
(d) Nepal ...……. Undermining the sovereignty and integrity of,
(e) creating animosity or spreading social ill will among people of different caste, caste, religion, caste, region, sect,
(f) Contempt of Court,
(g) Obscene materials of a kind that spread social disorder,
(h) Content that offends the honor, dignity or reputation of any person by mentioning the name of any person,
(i) …………….

9a. Broadcasting of the program must be started: (1) The person or organization that has received the license or permit must start broadcasting within twelve months from the date of obtaining the license or permit.
(2) If any person or organization that has received a license or permit cannot start broadcasting within the period specified in sub-rule

(1), they shall submit an application to the Ministry for an extension of the opening period, including the basis and reason thereof, before the expiry of such period.
(4) The license or permit of any person or organization that does not start broadcasting even within the period specified in sub-rule (1) or (3) shall be automatically cancelled.
