: The Act made to make arrangements regarding the Karnali Institute of Health Sciences to provide easy access to health services in the backward areas, to provide high-level studies and research in the field of health sciences, to produce the necessary skilled manpower and to provide accessible and quality health services to the common people. Since it is desirable to make laws regarding the establishment and operation, the Constituent Assembly has made this Act as a legislature-parliament as per Article 83 of the Interim Constitution of Nepal, 2063.
