: Since it is desirable to make necessary provisions regarding the conduct of construction business by promoting and developing construction professionals to maintain the necessary quality in public construction work, Parliament has made this Act in the twenty-seventh year of the reign of Shri 5th Maharajadhiraj Birendra Bir Bikram Shahdev.
