Preface
: Since it is desirable to strengthen, enable and make the transport service efficient and effective in order to prevent road accidents, provide compensation to the victims of accidents, arrange insurance and provide transport facilities to the common people in a simple and accessible manner, the twenty-first year of the reign of Shri 5 Maharajadhiraj Birendra Bir Bikram Shahdev Parliament made this law in the year.
