: Nepal .. to increase the efficiency of industries and businesses operated by government investment to increase productivity, to reduce the financial and administrative burden on the government of Nepal from establishments, to increase the participation of the private sector in the operation of establishments, and to develop the economy of the country as a whole by privatizing establishments from the point of view of national interest. Since it is desirable to organize, the parliament has made this law in the twenty-second year of the reign of Shri 5th Maharajadhiraj Birendra Bir Bikram Shahdev.
