-Establishment of the National Reconstruction Authority empowered to carry out sustainable, robust and planned construction work as soon as possible of the structures damaged by the aftershocks of the devastating earthquake on 12th Baisakh 2072 and to promote the national interest and provide social justice by rehabilitating and relocating the people and families displaced by the earthquake. Since it is desirable to make a legal arrangement in relation, the Constituent Assembly has made this Act as per clause (1) of Article 296 of the Constitution of Nepal.
