: Since it is desirable to consolidate and amend the current Nepalese laws related to the possession of arms for the purpose of maintaining the security and peace and order of Nepal, this law has been made in accordance with Article 93 of the Constitution of Nepal by Shri 5 Maharaj Adhiraj Mahendra Bir Bikram Shahdev.
