: To create healthy, competent, decent, disciplined athletes and creative citizens through sports, to promote the unity of the nation and to enhance the prestige of the nation, to conduct studies and research in the field of sports and to develop, expand and promote sports and conduct and manage sports. As it is desirable to amend and consolidate the law, the Federal Parliament has made this Act.
